It is time to register for our next quarterly Zoom meetup of seed savers around Australia. Come along and join in – Sunday 4th May, 5 – 6.30pm AEST. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, gather new ideas, learn something and connect with other seed savers.

We have another three interesting talks from different seed saving groups. They will each share what they’ve been up to. And another open discussion we can all participate in and share our approaches. Bring your questions and contribute to our shared knowledge if you can. Or just come and borrow the good ideas being shared.

Joelene Burnett – QLD – Mareeba Seed Savers : Joeline will give an update on what’s happening with seed saving in her region, what challenges they’ve faced and what they’re up to now.

Rosie McKay – NSW – Bilpin Seed Savers : Rosie will join us to explain what the Bilpin group have been doing lately and why they’ve chosen to become part of their local garden club.

Jaimee Brent – NSW – Coonabarabran Seed Library : Jaimee will share an overview of how and why they started this seed library last year. She’ll also talk about how they’ve used the character of their region to help get it running successfully and where they’ve found help and support.

Open Discussion – How much to put into an envelope? How do you work out an appropriate amount of seed to put into each envelope? What do you take into account? How do you measure it? Have you changed how much you put in over the years and if so, why?

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
